New Jonathon Ross Series Lighting by LED Illuminations
The latest series of the brand new Jonathon Ross Show is now broadcasting on ITV and LED ribbon tape is lighting the entire studio!

If you have ever been on TV you will know, as Sandra and Tom probably know all too well, that the lighting has to be excellent but this causes a lot of heat. To get brilliant lighting suitable for television interviews the lighting has to be very bright. The combination of bright lighting, several cameras pointed at your face and a live studio audience can make the studio get unbearably hot very quickly. The last thing actors want when they are being interviewed is their stage makeup running down their face; unfortunately heat is a common problem in live studios. LED lighting such as LED ribbon tape is far more energy efficient than incandescent or fluorescent lighting. This means far less energy is wasted as excess heat and more is spent as visible light. This is perfect for television as its safer, the studio does not get overheated and it costs less in electric bills!
It is easy to see why LEDs would be the clear, favourite choice for lighting a television studio. LEDs also provide excellent, clear, bright lighting. LEDs can produce a range of colours that are either subtle or very bright but still with far less excess heat wasted. This creates a brilliant picture for the camera and saves the actors from getting as overheated as they would with other kinds of lighting.
