Two Hotels in Llandudno, Lawton Court and the Elm Tree Hotel have set the stage on an international level for tourism businesses worldwide, by winning world best TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice awards. The fact that two separate businesses in the same small Welsh seaside town were capable of winning two world bests is absolutely inconceivable, given the number of hotels out there in the world, and the fact that competition is so high in the tourism sector in general.

Nevertheless, The Elm Tree Hotel in Llandudno and the Lawton Court Hotel in Llandudno (incidentally both on Llandudno’s North Parade) won the Best Bargain Hotel in the World and the Best Service in the World awards respectively, with the Elm Tree Hotel also picking up the Best Small Hotel in the UK.

These two hotels can rightly be called better than Good Businesses – they’re Great Businesses. Both hotels have clearly worked extremely hard in order to provide service that beats every other hotel across the world, and they should be congratulated upon the fact that their work has no doubt allowed Llandudno to be seen as a legitimate holiday destination on a global scale.

There’s no doubt about the fact that both hotels contributions toward tourism for Llandudno affects North Wales at large, and their tireless efforts for their guests more than likely have helped Llandudno as a resort be ranked 4th in the UK by the very same TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards.

Of further note are two other hotels in beautiful Llandudno, the Lauriston Court Hotel which has won the third best bargain Hotel in the UK, as well as the fifth best service Hotel in the UK. Also, the Milverton Hotel is of note for winning 7th position for the best small hotel in the UK, as well as 6th for the Best service.

These Great Businesses are making the North Wales region stand out, and we couldn’t be prouder of them!
