On the banks of this body of water sits a facility called Snowdonia watersports, a one-stop shop where you can access pretty much everything you could need to get on the water and have an aqua-top adventure. 

Are you having a hard time making the trip out to see their wares in person? Not to worry, the store also exists completely online and so you can view all of their goods on the internet, just go to their site and explore for yourself. 

The centre is also highly involved in the local community, running supervised swimming sessions. Their Facebook page also often shares lake temperature updates, ideal if you want to know what the state of the water is before making the trip over.

Don’t fancy getting wet, but want to be a part of the adventure? Maybe you need to have a bite to eat afterwards? The centre is home to the lone tree cafe, which offers home-cooked food to all customers.
