The Moonvine Shiraz Cabernet Merlot 2007 is a quality Biodynamic Wine that is available from Good Wine Online.   This Moonvine Biodynamic WineRed Wine was grown and produced by the renowned winemaker Walter Clappis in the McLaren Vale. The grapes are harvested within a specific lunar cycle using biodynamical methods. The wine has a low count in sulphite and the wine has 35% shiraz grapes, 35% cabernet sauvignon grapes and 30% merlot grapes giving it the rich and smooth texture it deserves. The grapes have been vinified then blended and then aged for 18 months in both American and French oak.

The grapes are grown using Walter’s own natural fertiliser including a cow horn filled with manure buried in the vineyard.

Like most biodynamic wines a small amount of sulphur has been added to this wine at the bottling stage as a preservative.

This wine is smooth with plenty of body, fruit flavours and a hit of chocolate.  Enjoyable with or without food.
